Carly Pearce is challenging herself to be more vulnerable

As we enter the new year, people are beginning to think about what goals or resolutions they want to achieve and implement in their lives. For Carly Pearce, she is challenging herself to be more vulnerable through her new TikTok series. Since December, the country queen has been asking herself questions using the “We’re Not Really Strangers” card deck, filming her answers, and posting them on TikTok.

Mental health is very important, and this series reminds us to take care of our inner selves and do the inner work needed to better ourselves. Each card she pulls from the deck asks a deep question, which she then shares with her fans. Each answer is honest and raw, showcasing a different side of the artist and reminding us that, at the end of the day, artists are still human and deal with challenges just like everyone else. Sometimes, fans can forget that behind all the glitz and glamour is a real person.

This TikTok series ties in with her newest single, “Dream Come True,” which explores the other side of being an artist, the side people don’t always see. The song touches on the costs of success and the potential downsides of the industry.

Both the newest single and this TikTok series showcase how authentic Carly is, as she continues to share her truth and bring that honesty to every project she takes on.
