Ty Myers drops new single “Message to You” off upcoming album Heavy On The Soul

Ty Myers is back with the latest single entitled “Message To You” off his upcoming album Heavy On The Soul. Yet another honest and thoughtful track, Myers lays his heart on the line in “Message To You”. With four tracks preceding it, “Message To You” offers a new point of view from Myers after the flirtatious “Come On Over, Baby” and intimate “Through a Screen”. The song’s soft sound and candid lyrics presents a vulnerable perspective into Myers’ take on a confessional love song.

As Myers sings of feelings of self-doubt, his raw vocals not only convey honesty, but will leave you feeling the emotional truths he’s singing of on a personal level. Once again showcasing his songwriting talents, the track features on a completely self-written album by Myers set to be released this March. With achingly honest lyrics, Myers sings “And wonder if I’m the right guy /

To give you all your hopes and dreams in life / I will spend the rest of mine trying to prove to you”.

The song’s music video, released with the single, is an emotionally exposed visual representation of the track’s themes. The video begins with Myers jotting down lyrics in a home, which then disappears around him as movers remove furniture throughout the video. The video ends with a wide shot revealing the, now nearly empty home, was located on a film set – alluding to the song’s theme of fading assurance and stability in a relationship.

Growing up close to Austin, Texas, Myers has achieved esteemed success at the young age of 18 years old. Touring with the likes of Tim McGraw, Old Dominion, and Willie Nelson, Myers is one to watch in the world of country music as he rises to fame. Blending a classic country sound with soul and blues influence, Myers not only brings honesty to his music, but a modern perspective as well. If you’re anything like us, you’re counting down the days until his sophomore album Heavy On The Soul releases on March 27th! You can also catch him supporting Luke Combs on the ‘My Kinda Saturday Night Tour’ beginning this March.

Stay Wild. Stay Honest. Stay Country.
