There’s a new Jonas Brother in town and he’s paving his own path in country music with his group “Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines”. After wrapping up as an opening act on the “JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour” with his 3 older brothers – Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas – Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines are just getting started in the country music genre.
The group represents the start of a new chapter for the fourth Jonas brother, who previously released music in 2023. After taking some time away from music, he was able to explore himself and discover who he wants to be as an artist. From there, “Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines” was born, with group members Aiden Harbeson and Tim Bruns.
The group’s first song “Village Liquors” is a hopeful take on nostalgia and growing up. Written as a self-reflective track, the song is not only relatable, but also contemplates themes of identity and future self-discovery. The track bleeds authenticity through the reminiscent lyrics and vocals, while the production conveys a true sentimental country sound.
“Road Soda”, the group’s second single written by the three members together, captures the idea of facing internal conflict in the wake of finding success and creative fulfillment. Sonically, the song’s country strings combine with a strong drum composition to create an immersive listening experience.
Their most recent single “Break The Levee” explores themes of vulnerability and honesty in a romantic relationship. It’s about embracing the relationship rather than fearing the tough moments and enduring those difficult experiences together. A hopeful track lyrically and a catchy country twang makes it a standout track for the group already
Entering 2026, the trio are set to release their debut album mid-year, while also headlining their first shows in Dallas and Houston on February 4th and 5th. You won’t want to miss out on your chance to see the group before they take the country music world by storm!
Stay Wild. Stay Unique. Stay Country.
