Ella Langley is Taking Over 2026

Ella Langley is taking 2026 by storm and it’s shaping up to be her biggest year in music yet. We’re recapping everything you may have missed so far and what we have to look forward to for the rest of the year from Langley. From #1 hits to a headlining tour, you won’t want to miss a second of what Langley has in store for 2026!

Langley started off the year with her 2025 single “Choosin’ Texas” continuing to rise to success throughout January. Accumulating over 18 million streams in the U.S. during the week of January 22nd, it was clear that the song was just getting started in its commercial success. Co-written by country superstar Miranda Lambert along with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor, “Choosin’ Texas” is becoming one of the biggest hits of 2026 already, despite being released late last year.

To end off January, Langley announced her highly anticipated sophomore album Dandelion, releasing on April 10th. The album will feature 18 tracks including “Choosin’ Texas” and title track “Dandelion”. On the day of the announcement, Langley also told fans that the title track would be released that same night. Yet another knockout track from the country singer-songwriter, “Dandelion” is a song about Langley staying true to herself and embracing her roots rather than conforming to ‘perfect’ standards, cleverly comparing herself to a wild, soft, dandelion in a bed of thorny red roses. Langley’s classic country tone pairs seamlessly with acoustic guitar, drums, and bass guitar while also uniquely featuring summer-esque outdoor sounds of insects and critters transporting listeners to ‘dandelionland’ as coined by Langley via instagram.

Days later, Ella took to Instagram announcing her headline tour for Dandelion with stops across the U.S. including arenas in Austin, Texas, Savannah, Georgia, and Oklahoma City. For country fans, this tour is a must-attend and we know Langley will be putting on a performance you won’t want to miss, combining her artistry and vocals into an incredible live show! Langley has also been starting off 2026 by joining country music icon Eric Church on select dates of his ‘Free The Machine Tour’ across the U.S. and Canada starting in Omaha and ending in Albany this month.

Perhaps the biggest feat of the year so far for Langley has been “Choosin’ Texas” reaching a historic #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of February 14th. With this, Langley became the first solo female artist to occupy the number one spot on the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay simultaneously. This historic chart run for Langley is just the beginning of her mainstream country success, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

Mid-February, Langley has also unveiled her new partnership with American Eagle as the fresh new face of their denim collection. The partnership depicting Langley as “The Denim Darling”, combines classic denim with country roots to create a campaign that places country music, style, culture, and lifestyle at the forefront of the collaboration.

Finally, on February 13, Langley released the latest track off her upcoming album entitled “Be Her” along with an accompanying music video for the song. With an addictive melody and honest lyrics where Langley sings of feelings of envy for another woman with a stable relationship and a life she perceives as ‘having it all together’, the song is an instant classic in our books. A standout track from Langley, offering a new side of vulnerability from her, and a music video that is visually stunning featuring Langley in front of a red background in different looks throughout.

Between the headlining tour, album announcements, historic milestones, and creative collaborations, Ella Langley is taking over 2026 and putting country music at the forefront of the mainstream music industry. As we await the release of Dandelion this April, we can’t wait to see what other surprises Langley has up her sleeve!

Stay Wild, Stay Successful, Stay Country.
